In the evening, the Western Mediterranean Exporters Association (WMEA) awarded best exporters of 2014 according to the sectors Sembol Insaat marked the victory winning in eight categories.
At the awarding ceremony held by Western Mediterranean Exporters Association (WMEA) where 5 leading exporters in Antalya, Burdur and Isparta and leading exporters according to the sectors were awarded Sembol Insaat was a company to win the most of prizes with seven sectoral awards and in 2014 it succeeded being a leader exporter according to the WMEA and winning eight awards.
At the ceremony with participation of the Western Mediterranean Exporters Association Board members and exporting companies officials the companies received their rewards from the WMEA Board Chairman Mr. Mustafa Satici, WMEA Board Vice Chairmen Mr. Ramazan Atılgan and Mr. Hakki Bahar.
At the meeting, the WMEA Board Chairman Mustafa Satici congratulated and thanked the exporters who helped the country to earn foreign currency and contributed to the economy by performing exports. That evening Sembol Insaat was a company to win the most of the prizes taking 7 sectoral awards and at the same time won in total 8 awards winning as a leading exporter according to the WMEA in 2014.
Lifetime Exporting Contribution Award was given to Ercan Boztepe who had presided at the WMEA Board during 3 terms and earned significant experience in the field fresh fruit and vegetable exports.
Awards were distributed in 24 different sectors
At the ceremony awards in 24 sectors as fresh fruit and vegetable products, fruit and vegetable products, oil seeds, air conditioning, chemical substances and products, ships and yachts, minerals and metals, wood products and forest products, steel, cement and glass ceramic and soil products, precious metals and jewelry, ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals, leather and leather goods, electrical and electronic goods, vehicle and auxiliary industries, carpets, garments, cereals, pulses, dried fruits and products, defense and aerospace, aquatic products and raw materials were given to the company officials.
